FOLLY BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: New information has come to light after police released affidavits about the recent accident on Folly Beach. A new bride was killed and her husband was criticially injured after an allegedly drunk driver mowed them down as they exited the venue in a golf cart.

Samantha MillerAric Hutchinson and two others were badly injured in the accident. After hearing about what transpired from other family members, Miller's sister Mandi Jenkins and her mother hurried to the scene. Miller, who was only 34, died in her wedding gown, according to her sister.

'Someone made a terrible decision to get in the car'

After witnessing the accident, Jenkins said, "Thirty-four, wants to be a mom. And she can't. My sister, a daughter, a wife, died in her wedding dress because someone made a terrible decision to get in the car," per KTSM.

Around 10.15 pm, a collision reportedly occurred on the 1200 block of East Ashley Avenue. A responding officer saw "a large crash scene with a golf cart on its side" while the victims were all around. Miller was not breathing and had no pulse when she was found. Despite emergency personnel's life-saving efforts, she died.

Who is Jamie Komoroski?

Komoroski, 25, who was driving the car, was detained and charged with three counts of felony DUI causing severe bodily harm or death and one count of reckless homicide. She was going 65 mph at the time, police reportedly said.

Being the only passenger in the car, Komoroski escaped unharmed. Cops smelled alcohol on her breath and on being asked she said she had a beer and a tequila-based drink an hour earlier, as reported by ABC News 4.

She was ubsteady and said eight when asked how she felt on a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the most impaired and one being perfectly sober. According to the affidavits, she was "very unsteady" on her feet when she stood and nearly fell over. The officer claimed that they helped her up, as per reports.
