Rita (Japanese: レイコ Reiko) is a character of the day who appeared in The Lotad Lowdown. She is the eldest sister of Nicole and Natalie. She is in charge of watering the garden at, and the overall maintenance of the Pretty Petal flower shop.
As Rita entered the shop, she was quite surprised to see Ash and his friends visiting them. Rita told her sisters that there was a problem with one of the watering pipes of the garden. After the group finished touring around the garden, Rita told Nicole that she needed to replace the broken watering pipe. While the pipe was being replaced, the Lotad came in to help in watering the garden.
Later, Rita, accompanied by Ash and Brock, went in search of her younger sister, Natalie, who'd ran off in search of a Sitrus Berry for Brock. After locating her sister, Rita gave her a scolding for running off by herself.

| Rita and her sisters befriended the local Lotad, which usually helped with watering their flower shop's orchards in exchange for Berries. One of them decided to join Brock's team. Ash and his friends first encountered the Lotad while swimming in a lake. Initially, they were frightened, but they quickly learned they were harmless. The Lotad even put on a spectacular Water Gun show for them. Later, they were captured by Team Rocket in their boat, but with the help of Pikachu and a powerful Lotad, they were freed, and Team Rocket was sent blasting off. The Lotad only know the move Water Gun. However, Brock's newly caught Lotad was shown to know Water Gun and Razor Leaf. | ||
